Sadly, I have not done anything on my website in a very long time. It is true that I have been busy. I have gone back to school and am now in my final semester before receiving my bachelor’s degree. However, I think that I should have paid more attention to how much time was passing.

What I realize is that by not attending to my website I am also not attending to my writing. Every once in a while I sit down and type a few pages but I have not competed anything substantial in way too long. I need to get back to writing, and not just papers for school.

I have done quite a bit of reading, most of it for school, and all of it good. Most of it was fiction. Some I had read before but most of it was new to me. I discovered that Milton’s Paradise Lost intrigues me.  I want to read it again, and again, and again. I don’t think I could read it enough times.

Since fall semester ended I read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and Joe Hill’s Locke & Key: Small World. I enjoyed both. I am embarrassed to admit that I had never read The Great Gatsby before. I need to read more books from my “Must Read” list.

I am now re-reading Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens. I have to. It has been a long time since I read it (and I have only read it once) so it is time to re-read it. Especially since they are making it for TV as a mini series. And it has David Tennant and Michael Sheen as Crowley and Aziraphale. I am so excited.

Since 2018 has recently begun and it is time for new year’s resolutions to be made I wanted to make a few resolutions of my own. I want to read more, I want to write more, and I want to graduate with my bachelor’s degree and move on to my master’s. In the middle of all that I also have to make sure I am there for my family.

I don’t know if I actually need to make resolutions, I sometimes feel like resolutions are things you make so that you can later break them and then joke about them. So, I’m not going to write these things down as resolutions, I am just going to do them. I am determined to so those things because they are the things I want to do and not because I wrote them down on a list.

Read on.
